We would not be free today if Malema led the struggle

It’s with great concern that I everyday witness ANCYL bringing ANC down in the worlds view. It’s busy destroying everything we’ve tried to achieve in the passed 17 years or so.

It’s not surprising that now they see gvnmt of Botswana as the puppet of the west.   I can’t help but wonder if by this they are declaring America an enemy. If Botswana is the puppet of the west, whose puppets are we. the East?

I lived thru apartheid, I experienced its horrors. I suffered in apartheid like all my contemporaries.  And we fought. The world was on our side. The world recognised our intelligence as we fight. Why was it on our side? Because we had diplomatic leaders, Who were not creating enmity in every word they utter. They were talking about unity and sharing. And that South Africa belongs to everyone who lives in it.

If that generation who were convincing the world to sympathise with us had Malema in it. I can swear we would not be free today. The world would have shunned us.

This generation is bringing all we have strived for and achieved into oblivion. I sit and wonder what’s the difference between Malema and Boaremage( if the name of that racist organisation is how it’s spelt). What’s a difference between NPYL (national party youth league) that was dissolved and the present ANCYL.

It’s very sad that when a person makes a lot of noise, even if there’s no sense in that noise. Because he says what sounds nice in our ears we fail to use our intelligence to weigh the motives and see if what he says carries us forward or backward.

I’m not a supporter of dictators in Africa or anywhere in the world. Our continent is so far backward because of them. Botswana is so advanced because it’s never been ruled under dictatorship. But I don’t think Malemas know that.

They say the gvnmt of Botswana should be removed. And replaced by who?

God help us before this youth destroy this country.

How I wish Malema had lived thru apartheid. It would have humbled him, and know what to fight for. maybe even teach him how to go about in pursuing what he wants.
