Gods must be angry over Cricket SA saga: iLIVE
It seems even the gods are furious with Cricket SA's shenanigans and questionable morality.
The heavens opened with torrential tears of sorrow over Centurion in the first ODI whipping by the Aussies, indicating celestial rage at the sorry goings on.
Seriously though, while Oz have just been on a tough Sri Lankan tour, our Proteas were totally undercooked, with many of the players having played hardly any cricket since the World Cup.
The lack of preparation for this tour is gross incompetence by Gerald Majola and his cohorts.
If pre-tour warm-ups could not have been fitted in with other major cricketing countries, surely tough matches could have been arranged internally between "possible" and "probable" trial teams instead of tossing our lads to the wolves.
