Oh, Baby Bafana, it's a crying shame: iLIVE

Our under-23 football team have failed to qualify for the Olympics .

We haven't sent a Baby Bafana team to the games three times in a row.

It is a shame because young players are spotted and recognised at the Olympics.

Both Safa and the Premier Soccer League must shoulder some of the blame for the disaster. The team never got the support they needed to progress . Accusations were flying before they departed for Morocco.

It is a disgrace that we failed to qualify for the 2012 Afcon and the Olympics a year after we hosted the World Cup.

It will be even more difficult to qualify for the Rio de Janeiro Olympics in 2016.
