Madiba too frail for celebrations: iLIVE
The icon and founding father of the nation, Nelson Mandela, was not at the ANC's centenary celebrations in Mangaung on January 8.
So many VIPs, guests and important dignitaries wanted to know his whereabouts.
The response from the party's national chairperson, Baleka Mbete, was that Madiba was "very, very old". The answer was incorrect. Madiba was nowhere to be seen at the centenary celebrations because his state of health did not allow him to be there at that particular time and space.
