Jacob Zuma has stayed humble: iLIVE
Before President Jacob Zuma took office, I viewed his visits to poor people in shacks as a publicity stunt, which many politicians before him had engaged in, only to forget the people after they were elected.
Zuma did not change when he became president. Even today he humbles himself and visits poor people's homes, sometimes attending public functions that other politicians look down on. Zuma uses them to keep in touch with the people and consequently better understand their daily struggles.
That is the consistency for which we have always prayed.
