Word of advice to parents: please supervise your job-hunting child and guide him or her all the way, "Woman tells of ordeal as drug-mule slave" (January 15). Note the telephone numbers and check the physical address and authenticity of the agencies. - Lindiwe, by e-mail

THANK you for telling Nonhlanhla Ngwane's story and that of many others who can't be heard. Sounds like human trafficking. - Grace, by e-mail

Do drop in

ANYTIME Ben Trovato wants to know how radical we are at the Fish Hoek Croquet Club, he is welcome to join us for tea, "Spineless sheeple deserve to be fleeced" (January 15). - Reader, by SMS

I WISH to express my complete and utter disgust at the way "white women" were degraded by Ben Trovato in his open letter to Juju, "Bianca! Stop playing tennis! Come and scrub the floors!" (January 15). The way he described us as utterly useless and without any work ethic is deplorable. If this was done tongue in cheek, I did not get it. Hell hath no fury, Mr Trovato!!!! - Zondra Hoffmann, Brackenfell

And Unisa?

IN "'Virtual campuses' to solve student crush" (January 15). Minister Blade Ndzimande suggests expansion of distance education through the use of modern technology. Yet there is no comment about how the dedicated distance education public institution Unisa is being empowered to extend its resources to alleviate some of the current education crises. - Luvuyo, Katlehong

No good news

I REFER to the letter by Sydwell Mbasa of Pretoria's letter "Tantrums don't help SA" (January 15). He complains that Mondli Makhanya doesn't often write about achievements in South Africa. What has been achieved in SA since 1994? I'm sure if there was anything, Mondli Makhanya would write about it. - Adele, Raumarais Park
