Suspended staff should not be paid

Finance Minister Pravin Gordhan said recently that heads will roll in Limpopo.

Unfortunately, when the government suspends anyone, it is usually on full pay pending an inquiry.

This can take years and the person does nothing on full pay, at our expense.

They should be suspended with no pay pending an inquiry.

If they are found not guilty, they can be reimbursed.
