Vavi is doing SA good: iLIVE
I commend Cosatu secretary-general Zwelinzima Vavi for establishing the Corruption Watch to help our country, which is unravelling due to ever- increasing corruption and lack of service delivery ("Vavi takes swipe at his comrade", January 27).
Already there are calls for the watchdog to be banned under the upcoming protection of information bill. Come on.
What information does the ANC want classified if they don't have corruption to hide?
The Western Cape, the only province not run by the ANC, received the only clean audit. This is too much to put down to sheer coincidence.
The only conclusion is that the ANC has become endemically corrupt in its administration and, as all the top jobs are taken in the ANC hierarchy, we must ask ourselves if we can get more personal gain from continuing to vote ANC.
If the only benefit the ANC can offer is edited news and media, I will change my vote, cancel my membership and go to the nearest immigration office.
