HOW dare Eskom threaten us with blackouts yet again, when lights on the highway are left to burn 24/7?
HOW dare Eskom threaten us with blackouts yet again, when lights on the highway are left to burn 24/7?
I understand that this is to prevent cable theft, but can't they heed their own pleas and switch them off for an hour or two a day?
And if suburbs can be shut off at a "flick of a switch", then they should be able to implement a plan through which lights in quiet streets can be switched off between12am and 3am.
And don't tell me this poses a danger as it is far more dangerous to shut down robots during peak traffic hours - causing absolute chaos and guaranteed accidents - and leave households powerless in the black of night.
