What a biased piece of journalism: iLIVE

What a biased, one sided piece of journalism I have ever read (Silence on Syria is hypocritical: iLIVE). It seems that the editorial staff at The Times has become the lapdog of western media sources whose sole aim is to promote the cause of western imperialism under the guise of humanitarianism and world peace.
Allow me to provide a more balance view of events unfolding in Syria as acquired from multiple news sources.
According to Alexander Rahr, a political scientist and a member of the German Council on Foreign Relations, "Speaking about the situation in Syria, we should take into account the fact that we are not dealing with an isolated case, but the process of changing the world order on the planet, which began in 1999 after the events in Kosovo and the NATO war against Yugoslavia.
It was then that the first serious breach of an already established world order occurred, where the alliance "did not notice" the presence of such organizations as the UN Security Council and decided to start a "humanitarian bombing to protect the civilian population in Kosovo."
Then, after Milosevic's punishment, it was Iraq with the overthrow of Saddam Hussein, and now the "Arab Spring" with such manifestations as the departure of Mubarak's regime and the elimination of al-Gaddafi in Libya. Now it is the turn of Syria."
So who is this Syrian opposition we keep hearing about and are supposedly being massacred?
The Syrian National Council (SNS), positions itself as the main force of the Syrian opposition and has called on the League of Arab States (LAS) to recognize it as a legitimate representative of the Syrian people.
According to a representative of the Committee of National Unity of Syria in Russia, Osama Matar, "The so-called National Council that meets in Istanbul is so popular among the Syrians only in his words.
In fact, it represents only itself and for the most part its members are people engaged by the Western circles at best. Among its members are people associated with western intelligence agencies who in some way direct their actions.”
Recognising NATO attempts for a Libya style military intervention in Syria via a draft UN resolution, Russia and China have summarily vetoed any such action.
If Afghanistan, Iraq and Libya are anything to go in terms of what the west calls “The War on Terror” or “Invasion on Humanitarian grounds” then Russia and China are correct in their political posturing and maneuvers.
Just look at the mess western powers have left in their wake - Iraq (millions dead and cheap oil for big western oil companies), Afghanistan (hundreds of thousands dead and an endless supply of opium for the worlds heroin markets), Libya (thousands dead and a festering hotspot of murder, rape and thuggery and western control of 15% of the worlds light sweet crude oil).
The west in the form of NATO may of been able to hoodwink the world into a “humanitarian” intervention in Libya (read: war for oil) but that same approach will not work in Syria even if Assad does not enjoy the support of most Syrians.
