Time to trumpet entrepreneurship: iLIVE

Tshwane Malope, Pimville | 17 February, 2012 00:55

Job creation will be a contentious issue as long as entrepreneurship is not trumpeted as loudly as the succession debate.

I listen, often with a shake of the head, as our leaders mumble their solutions to the unemployment challenge.

The best way to counteract joblessness is for more South Africans to realise what their talents are and turn those skills into bankable equity.

What else has worked?

A culture of entrepreneurship should be introduced at school - assuming, of course, that pupils are on time for class or that they are not in jail.
