Food for thought: iLIVE

The fact that South African farmers are leaving to farm in the Congo leaves a bitter taste in my mouth ("SA farmers creating a better life for Congolese", May 14).

Maybe it is because many South Africans have never experienced food shortages that we take it for granted that there will be a constant supply available.
