An attack on our dignity: POEM
A child with an ice cream box desk\ With no text books, teacher is drunk\ Pimps, drug dealers in the play-ground\ Towering twenty year olds in standard six\ And we speak of dignity
Jaded corrupted justice the victim
Cops who take bribes to lose dockets
Jail cells abuse those who cannot afford
One law for the rich, another for the poor
And we speak of dignity
Shadows fall across a flag forlorn
As we divide into tribes and suburbs
Each vote is about who is more racist
And we vote for our skin not our country
And we speak of dignity
