So it's art, is it?: iLIVE

"The Spear" by artist, Brett Murray, on exhibition at Johannesburg's Goodman Gallery. PICTURE LAUREN MULLIGAN

I would like to know whether Brett Murray would not be offended or hurt if some artist painted a nude of his parents.

Would he show that to his kids as "art"?

Better still I challenge the artist in the spirit of freedom of expression paint the nude of his parents, wife and kids (if he has these), and to place it in his living room for all the visitors to his home to view "critically".
