No need to dump newborns: iLIVE
I read with horror and sadness the front page article "Born to be dumped" (yesterday).
If these young women don't want or cannot keep their babies, they must give them up to the welfare organisations, or leave them at a police station or hospital.
If these girls are sexually active, they must visit their local family planning clinic and get an injection to prevent falling pregnant.
This is free and I don't think they need their parents' permission.
We need to have a campaign to encourage women to go to a clinic for the injection if this is the only way to stop unwanted pregnancies.
