On Hogarth and tea girls: iLIVE

Colin Braude | 04 June, 2012 12:22
DA parliamentary leader Lindiwe Mazibuko

Dear Hog,

I suppose the evidence of the Tea Girl's having arrived is that Hogarth got the name of her party correct today!   Congratulations.

More to the point, Hogarth is confusing cultures (a grave mistake in the Jacob 783 South Africa). When referring his predecessors, Ministers Ndebele was not using "the late ..." as is done in the Anglo-Saxon culture of referring to ancestors (the deceased) but with reference to the ANC culture of never being on time.

Hope that helps.
