Protests stir up 'Spear' interest

Robert Nicolai, Howick | 04 June, 2012 00:02

I had never seen the original Brett Murray painting The Spear, so I was naturally very curious to see the artwork that caused such protest.

Guess what? I did an internet search for "the spear", and there are at least 100 pages (Google shows only the first 100 pages, but gives access to many more) with an image of this artwork.

So can we look forward to a series of worldwide marches to bring down this display of our president? Be advised that the more protests are stirred up, the greater the public interest will become. -
