Put communities before self-interest: iLIVE
If councillors and politicians stopped promising everything to the electorate during election time, they would not have disappointed voters and followers and there would be no need for special cover for councillors ("Our councillors are vulnerable - ANC", yesterday).
If politicians started taking time to work for the communities which put them into power, and less time thinking and scheming about how to enrich themselves, we would have fewer problems.
Only those with the interests of communities at heart should stand for election, and they should not see their jobs just as income.
