Time for a woman to lead our nation: iLIVE

Roshan, by e-mail | 28 June, 2012 00:03

Is it not too late for President Jacob Zuma to talk about sleepless nights when we have observed nights of partying by the ANC ("SA at boiling point, Zuma warns ANC", yesterday)?

Our presidents have failed us. We are moving towards 20 years of democracy and we have been taking one step forward and two back.

Maybe it is time a woman became president.

South Africa has some great women who make a difference.

We have even greater women who run NGOs and are doing a sterling job to help the people at ground level.

Please, let's all hold hands.

Next time we should put our thinking caps on before we place our "X".
