Kevin Pietersen, the South Aftrican-born star of the England cricket side, has taken egotism to a new level!

Not shy of controversy, the boisterous batsman has threatened to quit the international arena and pursue a future in the Indian Premier League. This announcement comes at a time when England have gelled into a formidable team.

If he quits, he will be the third top international player to become a "casualty" during Graeme Smith's captaincy, the others being Nasser Hussain and Michael Vaughan.
