There is money for our athletes: iLIVE

Regarding your editorial yesterday, "Mbalula must now put our money where his mouth is", why can't we afford it?

Our president earns more than the British prime minister and our MPs earn more than British MPs. So if Britain can afford to pump money into sport, why can't South Africa?

Billions of rands are lying in the Lotto fund with nowhere to go. I suggest this is used for aspiring young athletes and sports development.
