Ramaphosa's enemies use massacre as leverage: iLIVE

I have noted with interest that there are people who are blaming Cyril Ramaphosa for the Marikana tragedy because he is a director at Lonmin.

He has not denied his responsibility as a director nor that all Lonmin leadership should bear the brunt of criticism. I am sure he was as shocked as the rest of us.

But some people who have a vendetta against Ramaphosa have used the massacre as an opportunity to attack him for their own selfish reasons. These people are fat-cats who do not care about the miners.

They accuse Ramaphosa of being rich while they themselves are laughing all they way to the bank.

Ramaphosa is a visionary who went into business because he wanted to fight for the economic freedom of blacks. He has empowered hundreds of thousands of people through his businesses, educational trusts and social upliftment programmes.
