ANC, abandon the poor and poor will abandon you: iLIVE
It is shocking to hear my leaders speaking with forked tongues. We are faced with a challenge as a country and we need decisive leadership, but our leaders are playing the blame game.
It is the government that issues mining licences, not Julius Malema, and the mines are exploiting our people. I agree that the salary demand by miners is unrealistic, but leaders must remember their roots.
The current ANC leadership must know that the majority of its supporters are poor blacks who work in the mines and on farms. It is failure to provide leadership in these spheres that worries me as I foresee disastrous election results in two years' time.
I can't vote for another party, but I want our children to belong to a party that has a history of fighting for human rights, not wrongfully acquiring individual riches.
I am calling on our leaders to change their attitudes and end the greed. It is time they serve the poor and stop their infighting.
