I refer to C Smith's letter "Pay off loans with service" (yesterday).

When a business borrows money, it has an obligation to repay it. When a student borrows money, he or she knows full well the terms and conditions on which it was borrowed.

So when the money was borrowed, was it the intention then to not keep your word? That's what it is all about: integrity.
