Nkandla is not a state home: iLIVE

In response to Themba Ntshangase's letter yesterday regarding Lindiwe Mazibuko's objection to more than R200-million being spent on President Jacob Zuma's private residence.

First, the state already spends millions on state residences for the president in cities around the country. Nkandla is a private residence and should not be funded by the state.

Second, we contribute to the state via our various taxes. It is the government's responsibility to invest the taxes wisely to ensure that the items Ntshangase mentions are provided.
