Mamelodi Sundowns visited Swaziland before the start of the PSL season to play friendlies, disregarding calls to boycott the undemocratic kingdom.

Today Sundowns are doing badly in the league. Democracy activists say it serves them right.

If Sundowns management had chosen not to go to Swaziland, they would have helped profile the painful daily struggles the people of the kingdom go through under King Mswati's dictatorship.
