Having heard that Cosatu has decided to support the president for another term, only Finance Minister Pravin Gordhan can save [us] now.

Gordhan has to present a budget next week. He is aware South Africa cannot afford to waste any more money, especially in today's financial climate, and particularly since the second downgrading of our borrowing status.

Therefore it is only the finance minister who can ensure the corrupt and inefficient government, which looks as if it will be re-elected, does not misplace or misuse money allocated by him for specific purposes.
