Mangaung hoo-ha a distraction from the spy tapes

Are all the Mangaung red-tape issues in fact manufactured autocratic chaos to distract us from the real agenda of keeping the spy tapes hidden?

These tapes never belonged to President Jacob Zuma or his lawyer so, for pity's sake, would the authorities just admit who has the originals and release the tapes so we can finally answer our burning curiosity about how corrupt the arms deal was.
