State prosecutor does not respond to child maintenance issues: iLIVE

I just came across your article ‘Crackdown on child maintenance defaulters’.

If find it shocking that it has taken me 14 months to pursue a maintenance issue with my ex-partner who left to go to England and has not paid maintenance for 16 months now.

The only person I have to "fight my cause" is the State prosecutor Mr Andile Sityana, who has not responded to a single call or e-mail since November 2012!

I have sent seven e-mails and called countless times.

Most of which he never answers his phone.

Twice I got hold of him, he just panned me off saying he needs to look at the file and get back to me but he never does.
