Tshwane Metro has never stopped amazing us, they have abandoned crucial projects e.g electric and sanitation, and are currently busy relocating people from squatter camp to squatter camp.

We suspect some senior officials in Tshwane Metro are benefiting from this useless project.

What is more surprising is that people are being left on a bust Rand Water pipe and under an electric pylon in Ward 40 (Phomolong informal settlement, Mamelodi East)

Recently we held the meeting with Department of Human Settlement senior officials, whereby Mr Fani Fenyane who is responsible for infrastructure in the City, was ordered to present a comprehensive report including a short, medium and long term plan about development in Ward 40.

He (Fani Fenyane) never showed up in the meeting on the 26 May, whereby a resolution was undertaken that he must arrange a meeting before the date of 15 June.

He still hasn't shown up.

We are also still in dark about R266,000 that the City claimed to have contributed for the funeral arrangement of two bereaved families in the bust pipe line.
