The planned R34 million programme to distribute flags to school and teach pupils the national anthem is such a complete waste of money, the very money that is supposed to be supporting us, the matriculants.

It is towards the end of the year now but our school is almost bankrupt. What is the government doing to us?

We had no text books for the whole year, at my school we even bought our own paper for copies.

And yet we are expected to pass whilst there is such a lack of support.

We are the first matriculants of CAPS but our views are not even brought into cognition by the government. Why?

How can we be thinking of luxury while we are in deep mud. Rather consider getting us out of the mud before taking us into this 'UNITY'  you are talking of.
