Sadtu members at ground level, especially those in the Eastern Cape, should wake up and smell the coffee.

Most teachers in the Eastern Cape are living below the poverty line and the government is silent about that.

The work load is abnormally high. Instead of employing new teachers, they are just abusing those already in service by giving them abnormal loads of work. How on earth will there ever be quality teaching?

Secondly, why are there differences in salary levels in our provinces even though teachers have the same level of qualifications? Sadtu Eastern Cape wake up!

Mr Vavi, the voice of the voiceless, has been chased away. Who will be bold enough to fight for us and stand up for us from Cosatu?

Our organisation is in a decaying state. I am  no longer a proudly Cosatu or ANC member at all.

Cosatu and the ANC must focus on the needs of the people at grass roots and stop being power hungry.
