Open letter to Cosas: My understanding is you are suppose to represent, South African students.

Before you can go out to fight the battles, that are bigger than you, start here at home.

Win the small battles here at home. Like making sure that teachers are teaching, for the whole full day of school, make sure that, poor kids are eating at school, make that textbooks arrive on time and school day at public school, starts when schools reopen.

Fight violence at schools, eg corporal punishment and raping of school boys and girls, fight bullying. Make sure that rural and townships schools are well equipped with libraries, laboratories and sporting fields.

And finally Make sure that, all the students who pass matric and willing to further their education, can do so, without financial, hindrance.

Then you can start fighting Palestinian battles.
