Hoteliers spend as much as three hours a week poring over their online reviews and responding to them.

According to online travel site TravelMole, a recent survey by hotel operator Choice Hotels Europe of 114 franchises, operators and general managers, showed that 61% of hoteliers estimated they spent between one and three hours a week reading and responding to online reviews about their hotels. Some 35% spent less than half an hour while 3% spent up to half a day a week on reading and responding to reviews.

The highest number of respondents were Italian (76%), followed by the UK at 70%.
