Nzwaki Masina tells us what's to adore at Eve's Bridalwear

What do you stock?

We are a one-stop shop for a bridal party, a stockist of Maggie Sottero bridal gowns, Tony Bowls evening and cocktail gowns, suits and accessories. We have just started importing UK brands, including Pink and Benjamin Adams. We have our own factory where we offer alteration services.

What makes the perfect wedding dress?

A dress that gives a bride the best fit, in high-quality fabrics. It's the thing your guests will remember forever.

What bridal wear trends/styles are in this season?

Classic romantic. For those brides who are die-hard romantics, the 2011-2012 wedding season is for you.

What's in are soft, rouched bodices embellished with Swarovski crystals, flowers, chantilly lace balanced by big skirts made out of layers of tulle, organza, lace and even taffeta.

Fascinators, flowers or diamante hair accessories as head gear are being used instead of traditional veils and tiaras.

What is the most flattering style for most body shapes?

All brides are different, with different body shapes and all have different ideas of what they are looking for from a wedding dress, so the best thing is to give every bride a dress that suits her body and personality.

Are men willing to experiment more with fashion?

We get guys who come to the shop on their own. Some even want us to guide them in terms of what is trendy.

What suits and trends are popular for men?

Men's fashion trends exist, but their cycles move more slowly. Many of the key looks that were in fashion last year will still be in this year, next year and beyond. It means you can afford to spend more on a suit and buy a quality piece of workmanship that you will be able to wear for many years to come.

The two trends that are in for this year are classicism and masculinity.

What's the most expensive item in your shop?

A dress for R20000.

Are there any other branches of your shop?

We opened a new branch at No 8 Cavendish Road, Claremont in Cape Town on September 1.

Where is your shop located?

Shop No3, Illovo Square in Johannesburg
