The love letters of 19th century poets Elizabeth Barrett and Robert Browning are going online.

Wellesley College and Baylor University in Texas have teamed up to digitize the 573 letters exchanged between Barrett and Browning in 1845 and 1846.

The letters capture their courtship all the way through their forbidden marriage.

Although transcriptions of their correspondence have been published in the past, the hand-written letters could only be seen at Wellesley College, where the collection has been kept since 1930.

Beginning Tuesday, Valentine's Day, the famous love letters will become available online, where readers can see the creased paper, fading ink, quill pen cross outs and even the envelopes the two poets used.

The letters can be seen here.
