A Volvo S40 T4.

The World According to Clarkson.

What do you like about your car?

I love my turbo and the sunroof.

What would be your ultimate car, if budget were no issue?

A 1955 Mercedes 190 SLR.

What's the fastest you have ever driven?

Probably about 180km/h. Not entirely sure.

What is the worst thing you have ever done when driving?

Learning for exams while driving to my test.

Do you consider yourself a good driver?

In comparison to most of the people in Joburg, yes.

What was your first car?

My first car was a Jetta. It got nabbed, then I bought a 1968 Beetle, Timmy. I still have him and will never sell him.

What's the furthest you've driven without stopping?

To the local Spar.

What's playing on your CD shuttle?

The Misfits.

Do you sing and dance along in your car when you are by yourself?

Definitely. If there was a hidden camera in my car it would be serious blackmail stuff.

Would you drive a hybrid if they were more easily available in SA?

If their price and performance start matching, yes.

How do you try to reduce your contribution to global warming?

I don't do enough.

Have you ever been fined?

Plenty - for talking on my cellphone, speeding, the usual.

What gives you road rage?

Road rage gives me road rage. I chill until someone shows me the bird, then I wanna snap.

What is the coolest car in a movie?

Eleanor in Gone in 60 Seconds.

What is the strangest thing you have ever seen someone doing in traffic?

The fellow passenger.

If you could invent a car accessory, what would it be?

A switch to change traffic lights when waiting and there are no other cars in sight.
