Local tuner Rob Green who has been making wonders out of BMWs for the past 15 years, has done it once more. His RGMotorsport workshop based in Strydom Park has surely created the most delectable BMW M3 in the country.

Encouraged most likely by theorange-coloured, track-ready BMW M3 GTS, which the German firm manufactured only for Europe in celebration of the M3 species' 25th birthday, the local pumped up one is feistier in look and performance.

This car is based on a standard E92 M3 - and is known as the RGM GTRS 3S.

Starting on the looks, RGM says it can offer varied themes including colour, wheel and rubber combinations, brake compound and suspension settings to even the detailing of the body kit.

The orange colour, aptly christened "Vitamin C", is an RGM special and suits this M3, seen here in a wide-body kit.

The wide-body kit is by Vörsteiner and is said to be a high-tech epoxy bonding process that merges the car's original metal body components with carbon fibre. This complex process is undertaken locally by a body shop in North Riding.

The components that make up this wonderfully evil look, are massive rear-wheel arches which add 60mm of carbon material in front and 146mm at the rear on each side.

This aero kit also includes a carbon- fibre boot lid, a vented bonnet in the same material, side skirting and a diffuser.

Vörsteiner V308s are forged aluminium wheels and the choice brand for this special project, which many visitors to the recent Top Gear festival witnessed.

The front pair of alloy circles are 10.5JX20 and are 12.5JX20 shod miraculously with 325/25/20 tekkies.

It's a festival of local expertise at play on this super- modern car.

The suspension settings, which give the car a touch of camber and a menacing look but are crucial to foot own handling on the rear pair of fat rubber, came courtesy of TWT in Strydom Park.

Depending on how rare you like your power stakes, RGM offers the choice of the standard 4.0-litre M3 V8 - which is a masterful piece of engineering - or you can order a bolt-on supercharger kit which RGM is famous for.

The pleasing news is that RGM has a "no-cut" policy, which means there is no cutting of body work to accommodate the components that bring the extra fury - in the event an owner wants to return a vehicle to its standard format.

If you are not keen on extra power, then your reading stops here!

A Vortech supercharger is bolted-on the GTRS 3S engine to provide extra oomph. It is 504kW on the standard kit.

Vitamin C here does 560kW and 680Nm, thanks to boost pressure set at 0.65 bar, a remapped ECU, and a rearranged pulley system to enable it to run on 105 octane fuel.

RGM also welcomes mad-hatters who'd love 750kW or, more romantically, 1000 BHP. Prices depends on specs ordered.
