Jackie Selebi, our disgraced former police commissioner, must be the only person in South Africa who is not looking forward to the Christmas break this year.

Here at MotorMania we all are - it has been a busy year of travelling around SA and the rest of the globe in a quest to bring our readers the latest news from the motoring world.

That time of the year is upon us when most people look forward to a a deserved rest.

BYE FOR NOW

This week's issue is our last for the year. Your favourite motoring supplement will be back on January 13, 2012.

We would like to thank you for your exceptional support in the young life of this publication.

MotorMania turned one on October 28 and we could not have reached that without your support.

As we get ready for the Christmas break, we would like to urge you to be responsible on the roads.

TAKE CARE

Most of you will be travelling to long-distance destinations and that requires exceptional care behind the wheel.

Let's all be responsible road users. Refuse to be a statistic by being responsible at all times while out driving. Buckle up, stick to the speed limit, make sure that your vehicle is roadworthy and, most importantly, don't drink and drive.

We look forward to 2012, which promises more fun in the motor industry and we'll also bring you more!

Have a happy festive season!
