One person is injured following a Sturdee Avenue office block roof collapse in Rosebank.

Reports say it is the Penguin Books building - which is on the corner of Sturdee and Jellicoe.

"It was a structural collapse of a building. We have established that one person was injured," says spokesman Synock Matobako.

"Emergency personnel are on the scene trying to establish the cause [of the collapse]," says Matobako.
