Fifty suspected sexual offenders have been arrested in various parts of KwaZulu-Natal during simultaneous raids, police said on Tuesday.

"Forty-one of the arrested suspects were wanted for rape, one for attempted rape, six for sexual assault and two for domestic violence," Colonel Jay Naicker said.

The arrests were made on Thursday and Friday last week.

All suspects will be charged at the stations where the cases were reported and are expected to appear in court this week.
