The case involving two men accused of participating in the rape and torture of a woman in Modimolle was postponed on Monday morning, Limpopo police said.

Mmapuru Peter Mohlako, 34, and Andries Paparona Sithole, 42, appeared in the Modimolle Magistrate's Court and the case was postponed until February 10, said Lt-Col Ronel Otto.

On this date, they would appear with their co-accused Sello Frans Mphaka, 38, and Johan Kotze, 50.

All four men remained in custody.

Kotze allegedly forced the three men at gunpoint to rape and mutilate his estranged wife Ina Bonnette at their home on January 4. He also allegedly shot dead her 19-year-old son Conrad.

Bonnette earlier waived her right as a rape victim to remain unnamed so that Kotze's name and image could be circulated in the media.

A member of the public spotted Kotze in Modimolle, leading to his arrest last Wednesday.

The other three men were all arrested in Makapanstad, Hammanskraal.

Mphaka was taken into custody on Wednesday, while Mohlako and Sithole were arrested on Friday and Saturday.

Kotze and Mphaka appeared in court for the first time on Friday, the same day as Bonnette's son's funeral.
