ANC Youth League leader Julius Malema will address the organisation's NEC and media at the opening of its lekgotla in Pretoria this week.

ANCYL spokesman Floyd Shivambu said the league's first national executive committee (NEC) meeting of the year would be held on Thursday.

"The ordinary NEC meeting will discuss the organisational and political developments and progress of the ANCYL since the last ordinary NEC meeting in July 2011," he said in statement on Wednesday.

The league's annual NEC lekgotla would be held between February 10 and 12 at the St George Hotel in Pretoria.

"ANC Youth League president Julius Malema will open the lekgotla on Friday... which will be attended by all top five officials of the ANCYL in provinces and three leaders of the ANCYL per region," Shivambu said.

The African National Congress' disciplinary committee of appeals has dismissed appeals by Malema, Shivambu, and four other ANCYL officials to overturn their suspensions.

They were found guilty in November last year of bringing the ANC into disrepute and of sowing division in the party.

The ANC held its first NEC meeting for the year at the St George Hotel between February 2 and 5.

ANC secretary general Gwede Mantashe told reporters afterwards the suspension of the six youth league officials would only come into effect once the mitigation process of their sentences was complete.

"There should be no confusion. We have decided to delay everything from kicking in until the processes are completed," Mantashe said.

Malema was given two weeks to prepare arguments in mitigation of his suspensions.

There is a trick at the twist of the tail at this instance his behavior is being watched with an eagle eye. His conduct during the ANCYL Lekgotla might aggravate his sentence if he is not careful.Knowing how jajarag he is he might even make things worse because he knows very well that he had drowned and nevertheless his tenders sources are still save in Limpopo so there is no need to worry because all his taps are still flowing,if they can close down all the taps he will come back to his senses he won't go anywhere because he does not have formal qualifications to lean on as such to sort him out completetly disband the Limpopo PEC so that he can start afresh otherwise all that is happening is just a waist of time bring down his Limpopo lads and he would have been sorted.

Malema will be the next president of south Africa because the majority of the black oppressed majority are tired of seeing these corrupt ANC cadre sellouts sleeping with the white racists of South Africa

What kind of liberation has the sellout cadres achieved. White people own more land under black ruke than under white rule. White peope own more thanm 99% of the farmland in the western Cape

what kind of liberation has the corrupt ANC cadres achieved when they have made the apartheid anthem fort of the new anthem. an Israeli got life sentence for sing the natzi anthem

Malema will bring about change and thats why white South africans hate hm. white South Africans love Mandela because that old fool guaranteed white people all the apartheid privaledges they enjoyed under apartheid.
