Six Tshwane municipal bus service officials have been suspended following a forensic investigation, according to a report.
The Pretoria News reported on Thursday that the probe looked at, among others, the disappearance of a bus from a Pretoria bus depot and illegal bus ticket sales.
Tshwane metro municipal manager Jason Ngobeni told the newspaper that 16 cases of fraud were being investigated against the suspended managers and that disciplinary procedures would soon be finalised.
A workshop would be held this weekend to determine possible interventions in the municipal bus service.
