The case against murder accused Johan Kotze and his three alleged accomplices was postponed in the Modimolle Magistrate's Court on Friday.
A trial date would be set at their next appearance on May 11.
Kotze is accused of masterminding his ex-wife Ina Bonnette's torture and gang rape, and of killing her son Conrad, 19.
On January 3 he allegedly ordered his three workers at gunpoint to gang rape Bonnette and mutilate her body with objects including nails, pliers, a grinder and a screwdriver. He is further alleged to have shot Conrad, after luring him to the house.
