The Modimolle man accused of killing his ex-wife's son and plotting her gang rape had no psychological disorders, according to a report on Saturday.
According to a report by three psychiatrists, Johan Kotze was aware of what he was doing, the Beeld reported.
They found that Kotze could discern between right and wrong.
The report was handed over to the State on Friday.
Kotze, 50, was sent for psychiatric observation in May at Weskoppies psychiatric hospital in Pretoria. He was released from the hospital on Monday and taken to the Pretoria central prison.
On January 3 he allegedly assaulted his ex-wife Ina Bonnette, hired men to gang-rape her, and shot dead her son, Conrad Bonnette, 19.
The trial is scheduled to start on November 19 in the High Court in Pretoria.
