Malema's top notch attorney

Sapa | 22 September, 2012 10:29
Julius Malema.

With news of his imminent arrest, expelled ANC Youth League president Julius Malema is armed with a "hot shot" lawyer to see him through the legal battle.

The Star newspaper reported that attorney Nicqui Galaktiou had previously and successfully defended among others Gijima, SA businessman Robert Gumede and former Zambian president Rupiah Banda's son, Henry Banda.

She is a director at Brian Kahn Incorporated Attorneys.

She has 12 years experience in motion and trial work and disputing resolution matters and is head of the Commercial Litigation and Dispute Resolution Department.

Galaktiou is also a member of the International Bar Association.

Malema was expected to appear in a Polokwane court next week after a warrant was issued for his arrest.

The City Press reported on Friday that Malema faced charges of money laundering, corruption and fraud relating to his Ratanang Family Trust and its share holding in On-Point Engineering, a company that allegedly made millions from Limpopo government tenders.

I guess Mr Malema doesn't have any confidence with the candidates on offer from the Black Lawyers association.

This says everything about BEE

The point is Malema’s riches was ill gained, he either stole it, laundered it, got it via corruption or fraud, but there is NO Way in Hell, he could have become as affluent, wealthy on the salary he use to receive as head off the ANCYL. “JUST TO THE FRACKING MATH”

Furthermore be realistic I do not care how good a friend someone is to Malema, he had to do, huge favours for these friends, in order to get the hand-outs he was getting, nothing in life comes free.

And no matter what the colour of his attorney is he is going to ROT IN JAIL AS A THIEF

Julius Malema and affirmative action in action. Just like Jacob 783. When it comes to saving his own black skin, only the best will do.

With Mogoeng Mogoeng as 783's protégé, there is little chance that Mr. Malema will escape the gallows.

It would be suicidal for Malema to use attorneys who rely on our Department of Justice handouts for their living. Law is legalised violence, and nothing else. It is in direct contrast to morality, a prerequisite for a democratic government - not a democratic sovereign. The former would leave the actual application of the law to all the citizens, because it is made by all, and needs no enforcement, as people have grown to accept. Elite made law favours an immoral party and state, and protects them against the very people they are supposed to protect. The pathetic state of our law was seen in its promotion of a person with 783 charges hanging over his head, to a position of a head of state. Such a failure can only happen once in a lifetime. It is unheard of, even in the most corrupt dictatorships.

Of course you don't see why. There's none so blind as those who will not see.

I have no doubt that he is going to pay for the lawyer himself, because he should have stashed away quite a few million of taxpayers money that he acquired from his friends whom were illegally awarded tenders by his mentor/friend in Limpopo.

Bong,
Just a heads up, a sole is a type of fish or the bottom of your foot - a soul is the spirit.

Maybe if Malema couldn't afford to pay then he wouldn't be under investigation? Not many of us can afford this lady's hourly fees and there is no way that Malema's salary could cover it
