Fuel price to drop

The retail price of all grades of petrol will drop by nine cents a litre from next Wednesday, the department of energy said on Friday.

Diesel with 0.05 percent sulphur will fall by five cents per litre wholesale, and diesel with 0.005 percent sulphur will drop by six cents per litre.

Illuminating Paraffin (wholesale) will go down four cents per litre and there will be a five cent per litre decrease in the Single Maximum National Retail price for illuminating paraffin.

The maximum retail price for LP Gas will drop by 35 cents per kilogram.
