Seventeen diamond-encrusted pens worth R20 million, have been stolen from a house in Inanda, Sandton, police say, and asked for the public's help finding them.

The pens, which are encrusted with diamonds and gold, were stolen last Tuesday, said Lt-Col Lungelo Dlamini.

"It is suspected that the thieves gained entry through the sliding door... only the pens were stolen."

He said an insurance company was offering a "substantial" monetary reward for the recovery of the pens.
