The little chocolate treat ‘Sweetie Pie’ will be returning to South African shelves in the next few weeks.

Biting into the chocolate coated wafer and whipped crème Sweetie Pie is something that brings back childhood memories. Luckily South African youngsters won’t only hear of this delight from their parents.

South Africa’s largest independent chocolate manufacturer, Beyers Chocolates is bringing back the original Sweetie Pie after it was discontinued a year ago. But it won’t look the same; the purple wrapper has been swapped for red.

Beyers is running a competition to win a year's worth of Sweetie Pies. You need to take a selfie of you devouring a Beyers Sweetie Pie and post it on the www.facebook.com/SweetiePieOfficial. The competition runs from 1 September to 31 October.
